Once the home to the Ozark cliff dwellers and the Mississippian tribe, Cap Girardeau became a French trading post and river port. Your Steamboat tour ends at the port of St Louis, Missouri, the site of the first ice cream cone, hot dog, and hamburger introduced at the World’s Fair of 1904. Visit the city’s most famous landmark, the Gateway Arch.
